2007, 1.0. 20,000 miles on the clock. Bought it 2 months ago from a colleague of mine. The 107 is driven in urban condtions and I'm shock at how little fuel it consumes.

Well, the first thing I needed to do was to protect the car against rust, which wasn't at all visible while buying.....but then I was disappointed. There were numerous rust patches under both bumpers....and I need to say the car has had no crashes whatsoever. There were also numerous rust patches on all door frames under each door seal, including the rear one

What I did was:

And then I gave the car a professional anti-rust protection:

Did you take the affected areas back to bare metal before threating it?

A spray of Bilt hamber Dynax UC into the mating surface of the door weathersrtip will stop any rust dead.

Upgraded my stereo system. I fitted Blaupunkt GTx402 in the dashboard and then I remembered that 6'' speakers which I had removed from my Zafira are getting dusty in my garage. So i fitted them too. I've left the original head unit as i like the design and i must admit I'm pretty satisifed with the new sound. The results are much better than I expected. Well, passangers at the back seat will have worse impressions as there is not much high sounds, yet the driver has no reason to complain :)
