So I've done did some thinking, partly about how to raise a little more cash for this build and partly about my plans going forward with some of the work I do here...
I'd like to offer you guys my improved-OE spec ported manifold and throttle body to purchase. (Not the actual one but the same spec!)

The design is working well...
- It gives much better throttle response over the standard item as well as freeing up the top end to make the most of any potential gains elsewhere.
- It helps to smooth out engine running by ensuring the airflow is somewhat balanced across the 3 cylinders, where one might otherwise be disproportionately impeded or suffer from turbulence as a result of the random burrs created during the plastic molding process.
- It also aims to smooth out any hard steps which can induce irregularities in the torque curve at certain engine speeds.
Smooth and
responsive are the key words here
There are no detrimental effects to emissions or MPG values and since the ICV remains untouched your car won't idle any differently.

Port-matched & bladed throttle:

Obviously the images here are of the first prototype so the finish shown is a little rougher than I'm aiming for.
The price for the manifold and throttle body combined is £80 on an exchange basis (ie. you send me your old one back), or £130 outright.
These parts have been port-matched together and thus are sold as a single unit.
I can offer this with a ported airbox too should you wish to retain the standard filtration system - though a high-flow Pipercross foam element or similar will be required to make it a worthwhile upgrade.

I can also offer the bespoke induction system shown above, which has been extensively field-tested and yields better torque across the range than other big-name aftermarket kits.
This includes a Pipercross filter and all the custom shaped pipework to easily fit the standard or ported OE throttle body.
The price for the induction system is £75.Bellmouth-shaped intake at filter neck:

Consider this offered as a beta-version product - The specification and it's pricing are subject to change with further development.
Given that I've been running the manifold for some 10k miles now, and the induction kit for some 80k+ miles in it's various forms, I'm happy to say I don't foresee any issues and look forward to gathering some useful feedback during this stage.
Please PM me if you're interested in this.
I'm happy to offer fitting at my workshop near Hexham, as well as any other high-quality servicing of these cars that you might need.
Thanks
