If l remember correctly reedy did a retro fit of electric mirrors, it might have been heated ones though.

I've done heated mirrors - the heated mirror glasses are available on eBay, and I fed a piece of 1.5A 2-core mains cable for the heater elements through the existing grommets in the doors and just wired them in parallel with the heated rear window as the feed is available at the bottom of the A-pillar on the drivers side.

Thanks for the tips, really useful stuff. I used Dinitrol many years ago and still rate them highly but I switched to Bilt Hamber, which has been excellent stuff for me. From memory the rear suspension looked okay but would benefit from a bit of a tidy. From what you mentioned it would be good to drop out the springs and give the lot a good clean up, then I can use some more of the gallon tin of chassis paint I have lying around and some HD underbody wax to finish, then repeat at the front. Will definitely see about getting the app too as any diagnostics can be a real life-saver.

I know my memory is not so good as it was, but we did have a time when we could post pictures without needing to go through a 3rd party site. Somewhere l have a photo of a member who undersealed his car every nook and cranny a few times, nothing could touch it. It was on the ground and he was underneath it.
I thought it was Enjay. But he has not joined in this post as yet.
