That was an eventful drive home, the car picked up a puncture in work's car park and a mate loaned me his tyre pump to get me home, it worked well.

Then at home I got the tools out, had the wheel off in record time and found the offending screw, to the boot... The spare is flat, the rim is dented in and it won't inflate even with the valve core out and I'm using an air compressor which also runs my impact gun.

Hammer time, the rim is now straight and after some cajoling the tyre inflates and reveals a 3" bulge in the sidewall :!:

I didn't swear much

So far the plan is simple, use the KTM to get to work tomorrow while my dad takes the punctured tyre to be repaired, on Monday I will be off work so will take the bulged tyre to my former employer for replacement, they might have a used one on the rack (I was a tyre fitter for 18 months, mechanic for 8 years) or might have a decent new one as in not a bargain basement budget.

The KTM, has a bigger engine than the C1

The mods have begun, a 'think bike' sticker.

And a DAB antenna + dash cam in the front with a double din Kenwood and a USB socket zip tied to the side of the 12v socket which I was intending to replace with a suitable USB, then the puncture happened and I used the 12v socket so that is staying.

I had the dash top off and was surprised to only find tweeters behind the speaker grills.
