My advice-start with the easiest option (rear brake light-black silicon sealant around), then rear light cluster. After sealing around those, my leak stopped, thank goodness.

Unreal anyone want to buy a 2 by 4 swimming pool?
After so long a time my boot has water in it again, only on the left side though.
Opened the tailgate the other night and thought l saw water or dampness on the shock cover carpet.
Lifted the carpet and it was kin soaked, stripped it down a little today, but can’t find any obvious entry point.
Apart to say it should be high up.
Talcum Powder time again it appears.

Oh man! That's a shame, after you worked so hard to get it dry and sealed. I hope it's something simple.

Your not kidding.
Many years ago l read somewhere, before the days of the internet, that if you have a problem keep it to yourself. The reason was if you tell 100 people 50 couldn’t care less and the other 50 are glad that you have those problems.
Just goes to show how helpful forums like this can be, to owners who need help.
As a side line had a funny week, woke up, my left leg was killing me. Thought l slept on or something, but l couldn’t walk properly.
Phoned my Special Doctor for tablets, answerphone they had holiday. Must have pills.
Drove to my normal Doctor got my pills the bird thought l wanted to see the Doctor. No it will be ok tomorrow I said. Later went to my 3 o/c appointment couldn’t walk more than 50 yards without stopping, the pain was unreal. Pressing on the clutch was a kin nightmare.
That night l saw the water leak.
Live on top floor, carrying 3 bags, got in and rubbed deep heat every where (almost).
This weekend it’s still not gone, I am told the next step is a checkup on my veins in the leg.
F*** that sounds like a hacksaw job to me.
Maybe l’ll need an Automatic.
