Hi all,

Im Chris, 23, currently driving a C5, so no im not a C1 owner yet. Im quite a fan of the C1s and have thought about getting one a few times.

However my mum has ordered a brand new C1 which we will be collecting tomorrow evening. Its a 5door Splash in white. We chose this spec as it has the air conditioning which was top of our wanted list, we also like the C1 in white and found the Splash to be very good vaule.

Im looking forward to the collection tomorrow and driving the C1. Id quite like one myself, so ill see what i think to our new addition :)

Ive ordered some contoured mudflaps and the glovebox lid for it already. I read on here that a rev counter can be fitted, so ill look into doing that too.

Chris.

Welcome to the forum chris, good choice with the upgrades, the styled mudflaps make the car and the glovebox tidies the lines up perfectly on the interior  they are great cars and the white splash is lovely, hope you enjoy it

Thanks for the welcome obc1. :)

I thought id join and learn more about these little cars and to pick up some knowledge on them.

There are some very nice looking C1s on here in the gallery and this seems a popular, helpful forum.

Im pleased to hear that the scanguage works with the C1 (it doesnt my C5) as i have one from a previous car. So ill try and find somewhere to mount that without it being too noticable. Ill probably find somewhere i can velcro it to, maybe the underside of the heater controls.

Excellent news.
You'll love it.
The fuel economy is amazing,I have been driving mine at a pedestrian 55 mph to conserve fuel as I drive over 400 miles a week.
The current tank I am on is lastng forever, should be close to the 70 mpg mark!
Mind you might have a bit of a play today, they sound great when you give it some.

We picked up the new C1 Splash yesterday .... Its BRILLIANT! :D Picked it up with 6 miles on the clock, its now done 160.

What an fantastic car, i love driving it, really good fun.

I had a drive out in it yesterday, it had 4 people in and the air con on a lot of the time. The route was a mixture of counrty roads, towns and motorways. I filled the tank before i set off and then when i got back after 90 miles, it returned 62MPG! Considering the weight it was carrying, with the AC and my sometimes lively driving im totally amased at the economy. I didnt expect MPG near that, especially given that the engine is not run in.

Im impressed with the refinement too, apart from road noise (i might add some dynomatting at some point), at motorway speed the engine can not be heard. The seats are very comfortable there is plenty of space inside the cabin and the drive is excellent. Im really impressed with C1s :)

I took some pictures yesterday, so ill put one or two in here later on.

I can see me getting my own C1 before too long!
