Hi there - I'm a lifelong motorhead from SE Staffordshire, running a big diesel SUV, VW Touareg, which is sublime at almost everything but I want to get a 107/C1/Aygo for short journeys to reduce my carbon footprint - I'm looking specifically at 2012-2014 higher trim models so if anyone is planning to sell in the next few months, let me know.

All the Pre 2014 models are basic inside, that's what make the so light and fun to drive.

Nothing came up which met my initial requirements so I've spread my search wider and put a deposit today on a 2011 Citroen VT, blue 4-door - it's conditional on the seller getting it through a new MoT so hope to pick it up next week.

No longer looking to buy as I now have a 2011 Citroen VT with aircon, it's done 102,000 miles - I picked it up yesterday and spent the evening putting it's history into order - plugs and air filter done last year, brake fluid has 0% water and copper, cabin filter not done for 4 years!, no record of coolant or gearbox oil changes - I've got various fluids in the garage from previous cars so need to check compatibility and then make up an order for the club shop.

Good to hear you found something that fits the bill, nice cars to work on, so sure you will enjoy that as well as the driving.
