Hi

I think the tracks are broken in most of my demister as it doesn't de-mist! The tracks look lighter in the broken areas but they are not scratched off completely? Is that correct??

I know you can buy conductive paint to fill these in but isn't the original an orange colour not silver?
Wouldn't it look very poor??

Cheers

Paul

If you do it nice and thin, it's not noticeable.

cheap replacement - what the whole back window/door!

I was just asking if the lighter orange parts were breaks as such because they had not disappeared from the glass completely.

I took it back to the dealer today - they have applied the paint and it looks, well, awful to say the least. I will try to test it when I can - I tried to steam the windows up but got breathless!

It will, I am sure need a new window/back door. Feel gutted after paying £4800 for a car with this type of damage, even though they did not know about it.

Has anyone claimed under insurance for a whole back window?

£75 excess for a window BUT is it a window or a door? Does anyone know for sure if an insurance company could get Autoglass to replace this and put all the badges back on, etc??
