If it's not slipping or grabbing I wouldn't worry about it. My 2009 car went through a short period at about 50k miles, where the release bearing twittered away to itself, but it kept working and the noise eventually went away. I recall mine making a slight clicking noise too. I sold the car this week with 100k on the clock, still on the factory clutch.

Being a 2009 car, you may be on the later, bigger clutch that doesn't suffer so much from the early failure like the small ones did. The bigger clutch was fitted from March 2009 I believe.

edit - How was the Maccy D's? :)

I to had that clicking sound, when the clutch was engaged or disengaged, l got a mate who runs a garage to change the clutch for me.
Forgot to ask him what the problem was though.
The car is a 2006 it had about 85k on it then.

Yeah, I've not noticed any change in its feel, it was only because I had the window open and no music that I could hear the noise. Good to hear, I'll keep an eye (or a leg) on it for now.

Aisin part number: KT-313A is now showing on some sites as 203mm diameter.??

Need to check that it doesnt overhang the fywheel. But if thats the spec than thats the one to use. A few other sites are listing that size too. Being an aisin clutch its the genuine toyota part for the car too.

It's the wrong clutch. 190mm is correct, upgraded from original 180mm, 203mm is too big. They appear to have mixed it up with later Yaris clutches, the cars shared the same clutch as earlier Yaris models, not later ones.

This is the clutch the club recommends, having sold hundreds with no issues:

What's the differences with the Exedy 'Racing' Clutch Kit? Or is the 'racing' for marketing purposes ??
