It cost me £75 to fit in addition to the £140 I paid for the clutch kit.

Hi,
I have just bought a 57 plate C1 Vibe petrol from a main dealer and pick it up from them next Monday. I took it out for quite a long test drive and found it a nice drive. After reading about the clutch problems, I did notice the clutch bite was fairly high and having not driven a C1 before am just wondering is this usual or a sign the clutch is on its way out?
There is a year left on the warrenty, but reading some posts on here wonder if it would be covered, and has 11500 miles on the clock. Thanks for any replys.

How much is Citroen charging for genuine C1 clutches fitted (ballpark as I know this will vary from garage to garage)? I can't see mine lasting much longer.

Citroen are rather expensive on clutches, to supply and fit by them can be over £400!

Damn! I presume that I could get a replacement clutch fitted by any reputable garage and assuming they use a genuine part it wouldn't invalidate my warranty?
