Anyone who has had clutch issues, please post in here.

Mileage the fault occurred and what action was taken.

There appear to be a lot of clutch failures at low mileage, especially on petrol cars.

The manufacturers appear to have uprated the clutch from 180mm to 190mm at some point, so I assume that earlier cars will be worse for this.

Mine: 2005 05 Reg, clutch slipping at 16000 miles, adjusted on the manual adjuster, better but not completely cured.

C1OC official clutch repair kit can be found here:

My wifes car had a new clutch at 48,000 miles, mine had a new clutch at 68,000 but had juddered intermittantly for about 20,000 miles, we had a thread running about clutch judder a few months ago IRC.

I have had to have new clutches at 22,000, 47,000, and 69,000 miles. I have now fitted a clutch from the Toyota Yaris, a much heavier duty clutch, and it has seemed to have worked, car has now done 21,000 miles on this clutch without needing adjustment.

Yaris clutch kit from Toyota is £140 last time I bought one, and my local garage charged me £75 to fit it.
