Hmm, if the cylinder 2 isn't firing then I suppose the the moisture would be petrol. In my experience, if you have one cylinder out then the engine runs, but wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. The coils are certainly the best place to start - I know that it's unlikely, but the coil on pot 1 or 3 could have started to play up as well - or even the replacement unit on 2 is duff? The engine runs badly on two cylinders, but nothing will happen on one. You obviously have some sort of diagnostic unit, so recheck for faults. If your coils and plugs are good then you just have to work your way back up the chain, check the wiring loom for damage and so on. If you have a friend with a C1 then swap your coils to make sure that they are good?
