Hello

Some advice needed with revcounter. I have basic 107 2007. I haven't opened speedo cover yet so I don't know is it possible to add revcounter. I have read there should be connectors but it is possible there isn't.

I found parts from crashed Aygo (about similar km's) and asked for revcounter and cover. Seller is offering full speedo&revcounter package only. Cover is missing so I would have to use my original cover and cut it.

What do you think will this set fit and is it doable? I can of course do that plastic surgery if needed. What should I check before purchase? That speedo&revcounter package is mentioned fully working and it's 75€ so it's really good choise if it will work.

Over the years several owners have added the rev counter, all have said it is a plug'n'play job as the connector is already there - just needed to cut the cover.

It will be there, it's oniy on some late models that it was occasionally not there.

be sure that the rev counter you buy comes from a petrol if yours is a petrol as lots of sellers on ebay say diesel rev counter wont work on petrol models

Yup, just reaffirming, plug and play. Done it myself. Took about 10 minutes and it works just fine (it's in my 2009 107). I didn't have to cut the cowl because I got a factory pre-cut one with the rev counter, but I think an uncut cowl is marked on the inside, so it's reasonably easy to cut correctly.
