So i did an oil change on my 107 today and i noticed one of my exhaust hangers looked like its in bad shape.

It looks like its missing half the ring around the exhaust pipe or is it that way originally?

should it look like that or should i do something about it?

Looks like it will last a bit longer, but definitely deteriorating.

Citybugstore do some great replacements.

Hi Jerring.
If you are handy and willing to spend some time on your back, you may be able to use an exhaust clamp or a
U-bolt to replace the part welded to the exhaust. If your exhaust is sound it maybe worthwhile. I repaired my son's 107 with an exhaust clamp for it's MOT

The exhaust hanger on mine has completely vanished both from the pipe and the hanger , and I concur with using an exhaust clamps or u bolt as an easy replacement if the exhaust condition warrants it

Great i will try that when it has rusted away a bit more.

But how did you guys do to get the exhaust clamp to the hanger? Is there a specific one for our models or did you do some extra changes on the clamps?

This is how I fixed the hanger near the silencer, a common problem spotted by the silencer not being horizontal.

The metal strap is a bracket I found and bent by hammer to a usable shape.
It is bent into a slight hook behind the rubber hanger so that it can't slide out.
This is secure enough for the MOT.
I've run cars for years and thousands of miles with home made exhaust brackets.
Why go to the expense of a new exhaust when all you need is a bracket?

Thanks for the picture and information that's the solution I was looking for! I'm definitely going to do it the same way as you did.
First I thought I had to weld it but your way seems way less of a hassle
