I have an intermittent loss of power and engine cutting out with my 2011 Aygo 1L petrol. I can be OK for days but then will loose power and eventually stop. This usually happens at 70 MPH on the motorway. After 10 minutes it will restart but has little power for the first minute or two, but after this will run as normal. I have attached an OBD2 code reader but it shows no fault codes or freeze frame data. Anyone else had a similar fault?

no codes, power loss at high load/high rpm... looks like a fuel pressure problem to me.
Either fuel pump, filter, or pressure regulator. Check fuel pressure with the manometer, or start swapping parts (filter first, then the pump).

best,

RL

Agree with above comment-crank sensor would display similar problems but NOT react slowly after a re-start, so it sound like weak fuel pressure- also check plugs and air-filter are in good order before investigating the fuel issue. None of the above would throw an obd code

I agree it sounds like a fuel problem. It was recently serviced and the plugs and air filter replaced. I don't have a manometer or any suitable pressure gauge so I'll probably start by replacing the fuel filter.
