Hey all got an oppsite issue with the clutch. Sometimes when pressing the clutch pedal the clutch doesnt disengage and drags which prevents me from putting it in gear.
Now there is a lot of slack or free play on the pedal end over 4cm free play on the pedal. Is there a way to adjust this pedal so some slack is taken up and the clutch arm is pulled back more to release the clutch further?
Current biting point is low which is about 1 inch off the floor so i suspect that is the issue. Not enough clutch actuation.
Iv read about an adjuster nut gearbox side and a screw above the pedal side. Not sure which one to do.
Car has 74k on the clock and i believe clutch was replaced by the previous owner. We bought the car with 66k on the clock so doubt it the original clutch is still in there.

just did the gearbox side adjustment nut and iv removed half the slack in the clutch pedal, i had measured 5cm free play before i started and its now at around 25mm free play. didnt drive it anywhere yet but as i tested on the drive the biting point has risen a bit which hopefully means i get more disengagement on the clutch now.

Clutch freeplay should be 18-28mm so your 25mm is fine
