I have not had my drums off, and have searched for the answer to this question for some time.
Nobody seems to know l have asked on here also.

A trip to Citroen might bring results

I have never changed my shoes in 7 years. They don’t wear that quickly, i adjusted them up last year.

The front brakes does most of the work and it’s front heavy.

Just give them routine inspections

Yer same here my car is 10 years old 120k and by the look / make of the shoes id say they were OE and still have plenty of life in them...might change them next summer cos the drums are a bit scabby and easier to change than clean up.

I only replaced mine last year due to a leaky cylinder

I'm on 136k

Still had loads of life in them

Did you do a complete strip down and copper slip the adjusters and back plates, this is on my list soon before Winter l hope.

Iv only had the car about 2 years usually check every year But as the old saying goes if it isn't broke don't fix it...
