I have owned BMW X1. BMW cars are known for their sheer driving pleasure and the ‘M’ division that produces performance-enhanced products. They have been good in serving auto enthusiasts and rear sitters with ultra-luxurious cabins and super-rugged powertrains. With a wide range of products, this brand has been able to fill up its showrooms with a lot of vehicles catering to different tastes of the audience. With class-leading sedans, executive and plush SUVs, iconic hybrids, and lifestyle vehicles in the convertible or cabriolet form, BMW cars have become a leading premium automotive brand in India.

Yes their drivers are of a certain age, thankfully my aged Mum had better taste and bought a bug, problem with the Jazz, bit like your old Civic (styling which I liked), one neighbour has 2015 Jazz, looks nice and sleek styling, but like the new Civic styling, another neighbour just got a new 2019 Jazz and that just too fussy/busy styling wise for me, like the new Civic, whoever designed that must spent morning glue sniffing or something, cos it just an epic fail.

My C1's sidekick is a 2011 Skoda Octavia Break 1.6.
It's a good all-around car.
The engine is nice.
Spacious and functional, and beautiful.
But it has a diesel engine with DPF and so it will fail on me one day.
And after the Dieselgate debacle, VAG managed to tweak the engine for the worse... :-(
It's at 160.000 Km, and it regenerates the filter every 200km - which is a very short interval.
Most cars that haven't been "improved", regen every 600km or so.
So I'm pretty pissed of with VAG.
