Check out the electric model from Citroen
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... c-car.html

Super cool looking !! Well I was gonna write car but I don't really know. How far does 46 miles get you there are back? Tesco's still easy to park up. Have not read the full article yet but I bet it great.

The most important thing missing in that article is price, plus will the batteries be part of the purchase or a lease deal (like Renault offer)?

A claimed range of 46 miles is likely to equate to a real world Winter range of around 30 miles, which MIGHT just allow me to get to the nearest town and back - a town that has a grand total of 3 (yes three) EV charging points!

It just plugs into a normal 2 or 3 pin house socket. Looks like it's got a sunroof cool eh!.
No idea about the batteries though. I was imagining all the teenagers getting one of these SMART lookalikes
for Christmas or their birthday's from Mummy and Daddy. The orange one looks super cool.
The insurance companies rubbing their hands at the new market given to them.
Blackbox fitting might decrease the mileage range, l don't know.

Good at home (so long as it's a proper waterproof one if outdoors), but not so helpful in a supermarket car park!

Citroën list the range as 60 miles, with a two-hour recharge.

Still listed as concept. Can't configure or order yet!

No thanks, designed by and for people with no interest in cars or driving, at least the range is so small you don't have to spend too long inside one!

Might be better than a mobility scooter?

Come on team give it a chance. Nobody would have bought our models if we'd known that they were better designed for under water fishing. Windows breaking, they are a bit naff but somehow they grow on yah.

I like this Ami the poor mans electric car. Needs a 10 year warranty though :D :D :D

I guess it's a bit better than a Sinclair C5
