Did an all-round check of the car today, MOT would be "expired" now assuming the 6 month extension wasn't a thing, but I'm thinking of booking it in week after next so just squaring off all loose edges. All 4 tyres are legal, but I'm going to get a set of 4 off blackcircles fitted next week. Brake pads are surprisingly thick considering how long I've had them, but I have definitely adapted a conservative driving style so that's probably why I'm getting good life out of them.

Poor thing needs a good wash though, it's pollen city right now. That's tomorrow's job, though!

Replaced the battery in the Lidl thermometer I've fitted to show external temperature (sensor mounted on the inside of the front bumper and thermometer on the top of the dash), and updated the maps on my Alpine INE-W925R to the latest (Q4-2019).

Went to the Petrol Station and used the hoover, first time ever bloody powerful, it sucked up a complete packet of tissues. Got to be careful if you have things you don't want to end up inside it. Like a gold bracelet.
You will need to wait until it's emptied l guess.
Put on my club sticker. I knew that the Schnapps l'd Druck before we not a good idea it is not on straight.
But no blisters or bubbles.

Driving the last 3 days long mileage for me in the sunshine. Bugs and stuff all over the screen, she says don’t clean it in the sunlight. So at 10pm. Find got the windscreen looking good again. And the side mirrors. Safety first.

Son left the handbrake on the in the 107 - didn't drive it for 10 weeks. Guess who has two seized rear brakes.

To be fair to him, I would not normally put than hand brake on if I knew the car would be sitting in the driveway for a long time but I didn't even think about it when I parked the C1 (also about 10 weeks ago). So I also left the C1 handbrake on. The difference is, I got away with it. There was a bit of a noise as I first moved off but that was the only "problem". I took the car for a run to blow the cobwebs away; the brakes and the car in general are working fine.
