My C1 came with the Citroen glovebox cover but I soon replaced it with the Toyota one when it kept opening by itself when I drove over rough sections of road. Since fitting the Toyota one that has never happened in over 9 years...

I fitted one of the interior light delay/dim modules. Very easy to do. Used scotch lock connectors. There’s a black wire (earth) and a red wire (power). Pull the interior light out and there are 3 wires. A red, a blue and a black/white. To fit the module it’s red to red and black to the black/white.

Photo of installed module and wiring borrowed from @Nosopedogs My 107 envy posts as I didn’t take pictures.

Also fitted a replacement passenger side (RHD) wing mirror as the original had stopped working/ moving, again with a little patients and being careful not to loose any screws or bolts inside the door it was a very easy job. Removed the original painted cap and fitted it on the new mirror. There are plenty of YouTube videos on how to remove the wing mirror.

And last thing, a pair of dynamic side repeaters from AliExpress

Still needs a good going over with a microfibre wash mitt and some shampoo but I'll see to that later.

Changed gear box oil and brake fluid at 118221 kilometers on the clock. Gear oil is Toyota LV 75W (1.7 liters). The funnel is attached to a piece of 16 mm plastic electric conduit. And we have -5°C and little snow!!!, finally.

Oil plugs open with 24 mm socket, washers are Al 18x24x2 mm (Peugeot OEM number 6822Y) and torque for drain is 29 and fill 39 Nm.

Backbox gave out again, I've not had a particularly good track record with them as I replaced with new only 4 or so years ago. The sound that it was making made for interesting listening, bit of a pain to be honest. Noticable change not just in the sound but also the behavior of the car once swapped out, the car was hovering at high RPMs before dropping but now it's back to normal, quiet ops.

Service and MOT, just needed two new rear brake cylinders which I thought wasn't bad for a 12 year old car.

Done absolutely nothing, but still not happy with the steering despite clearing the hidden EMPS error code so decided to try a different ECU. Obtained one for under £20 in an eBay auction so I guess that counts for something. Lovely day here in West Somerset!
