I just fitted the upgraded pioneer front speakers, although it does sound better I still think it needs more bass

I ended up fitting the Aygo door cards and A pillar trim so I have a 3 speaker component setup in the front (tweeters in the A-pillar, mid range on the dash and woofer in the front doors). Plus I have twin cone units on the parcel shelf AND a sub-woofer i the boot - Im happy with the sound now :P

Catastrophic battery failure. Internal fault. So the tiny battery (11 years old) has been replaced with a Bosch S4 004 (075 size). Now looks much less 'Noddy car'.

Wow! Shame you don’t live in Cornwall otherwise I’d get you to do mine [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

Good to see the new style cars sailing through. Nearly bought a new style car (C1 or 108) in March but as the old C1 passed its MOT I decided to just keep it. Slightly regretting it now as we hit the 4th week of boiling hot weather and I don't have Aircon. :(

Totally agree with you, our 107 doesn't have aircon either, but been driving my sister's 108 for last few days as needed sort it's MOT and I must admit the aircon been very nice, I usually not that fussed about aircon, but actually having a 'proper' summer for a change, I may be converting

Have you noticed with the 108 when the AC on it struggles hard with accelerating? I get that AC uses power. On our 107 when the AC is on it drives normally but on the C1 I have to turn it off when pulling away on a hill or trying to match the speed of the Motorway

That doesn't sound right - even with the A/C on my C1 easily keeps up with traffic on the motorway and copes well with the steep hills in north Devon, in fact I often out accelerate other cars away from traffic lights 8-)
