You probably already know that there are 2 types of systems. Android and iPhone.
I would need to ask the question first about what system the person is looking for. I use the Apple system therefore, l would answer.
For security l recommend the iPhone. For freedom l would recommend the Android system.

Generally, I think I'd probably say the last one but any of the options would probably get the kind of answer you are looking for.

If I specifically wanted a recommendation for a phone manufacturer, I would tend to use one of the first two. Equally, however, I might also ask about a specific brand or make "would you recommend Samsung phones?"

If I wanted a recommendation about operating systems (etc) I would be more specific with my question "do you recommend Android or Apple"?

An additional option might also be "what model of phone would you recommend?" In that case, I would expect an answer that included manufacturer and a specific model.

None of them, simply "what mobile phone do you recommend?" as that asks about both brand/make and model.

"I may do whatever I want to." - Can 'to' at the end be omitted?

Yup. You could say it with or without and convey the same meaning.

Although, most people would probably use "can" instead of "may", even when it is less grammatically correct.

Could you please help with distinguishing 'under' and 'below' See the picture please. Say my family live in flat no. 1 and I talk about or refer to the other families

1. Family from no. 2 They live _____ us
2. Family from no. 3 They live _____ us.
3. Family from no. 4 They live _____ us.

i looked into phones a while ago functions and price mainly for the mrs as she wanted it all with a large screen a good phone at the time was around the £500 mark after a bit more research i found a Chinese phone that had it all plus more than the top brands for £60 after 2 years it still works great i have it now it gets knocked around at work but systems you dont use turn them off as it drains the battery faster i think it was a leagoo i think this is a later one i have not looked into this one though

Hmmm, I'd probably say something like:
1. Family from no. 2 They live below us/directly below us/one floor below us

2. Family from no. 3 They live two floors below us/two floors directly below us

3. Family from no. 4 They live three floors below us/diagonally below us on the second floor, or just "on the second floor"

By the time we are talking about the family from number 4, I'd be more likely to talk about which floor they are on rather than their relationship to my position because they are quite far away floor-wise.

I would not generally refer to the family as living "under" me because that can also mean a position of superiority "e.g. I am a chef and I have 3 kitchen staff under me". So, it sounds a bit wrong (not massively so) to talk about the family from number 2 being under me. However, I would say that their flat is under mine or below mine with no real preference. [edit] Actually, I'd probably prefer "under" in this case because "below" could be taken to imply that their flat is a lower quality one than mine. [/edit]

Honestly, I think you'd find people saying either almost completely interchangeably most of the time.
