Can anyone identify the make/model of this car?

My wife found the pic amongst some old photos and I'm having trouble identifying the car. If I zoom in to the lettering on the front of the bonnet, I can just about read what it says - but not quite.

It's a Ford Consul EOTA (1951-1956)

Thanks. Very much. :)

I thought that it had a Ford look to it but I couldn't get the model. I even tried the Consul, but only found pictures of the later model.

Unreal and l thought my memory was going, on many things it has! But Mr. Bailey the owner took me and his son Peter swimming at oasis baths in London. Every Sunday for months. Believe the baths have been pulled down now for office buildings as usual.
His was light blue and very shiny.
Enjay thanks for the memories.
