Hi, Got some silicone spray at last, so gave all the rubbers door seals a good treatment.
And the window guides, don’t really wish to buy new and replace the motors at time of year.
Driving last night the screenwash was empty suddenly. Another small job, funny never happened to me before.

Today i fitted a rev counter to our 107. It's never had one until now, they weren't standard on the Urban 107s of the time but were standard on some C1s.

Anyway this one was off a 2006 107 which must have had it fitted as an option. It's great.

The cost was FOC as the 107 was a trade in and very broken (I work at a garage group ) which makes it even better!

The job was quick and easy. Probably 10 mins to take mine off, take the other one off and swap them and refit. Pleased to see it lights up too with the dash lights.

Some of you have probaby had the rev counter all the time so this won't be very exciting at all for you!

We also fitted a set of OEM 'Sborne' 14" alloys on it a few weeks ago, this time not from a trade in but from a colleague, again FOC which was great. Improves the looks a little.

Yes, i've been lucky with these two things, i think being at a garage and seeing the trade-ins can help. A few of my previous cars have been trade-ins over the years

I put a rev counter in to my son's 107 Urban. It's a surprisingly satisfying little mod to do. So simple to actually carry out but has quite a big impact on how the interior of the car "feels".

Very muh agree, Enjay. It's strange how the small addition of the rev counter kinda changes the feel of it. I'm pleased it lights up at night, too.

Yesterday actually went out, had 2 appointments lined up. And the battery was flat, to be expected l guess after great service, 5 years plus. Got a jump and fitted it outside the shop.
All shiny and new. This one will see me out now.

Have yet to replace mine after 9 years on the road, 45k miles. Had to jump a coworkers Audi a week ago, I was the only person in the 40+ person office to have jumper cables - luckily it was only an A3. Been thinking about getting one of those independent battery booster modules but the cables were dirt cheap from a car boot and there's more than just my car in the drive so I should be alright.

I have been thinking about about this also, but l’ve read lots of bad reports on Facebook about them.
Don’t know maybe I should have???
