Hi, somebody here did some engine mods on the 1.4 HDI 54hp?

Mine C1 3 doors 1.4 HDI has stock engine with 54hp and 167k kilometers (103k miles).

Few weeks ago I've found that the turbo has a small oil leak and the coreassy has a really small backlash.

The car runs with no problems at the moment, but needs to be repaired in the next months.

So I've found a shop near Rome that ships the kkk kp35 with some mods and reinforced at a good price.

Now i've two options:

Stage 1

- KKK KP35 custom reinforced turbo
- BMC panel air filter
- ECU custom remap by one of the best italian tuners in North of Italy.

Cheaper and easier soluction.

With this stage I should gain around 76hp and 155/160 nm of torque in a really safe way.

This video shows the improvement with this power:

Stage 2

- KKK KP35 custom reinforced turbo
- BMC panel air filter
- Intercooler (From 1.6 hdi or Smart Fortwo)
- ECU custom remap by one of the best italian tuners in North of Italy.

With this stage i could gain more power, my goal would be 90Hp/180 NM. An IC should reduce the temperatures and have a better performance from the car.

Somebody did the IC mod on the c1/107/Aygo Diesel?

Because I've found different stuff about the IC mod on C2/206/Fiesta 1.4 HDI 68hp but nobody did it on the citybug.

Also, under the bonnet, the c1 with 1.4 hdi has really few space, I've found where i should place the IC (next to the front radiator) but there is space for the pipes?

After engine mod, my wish is to replace the old OEM shock absorbers and springs with a Koni STR.T kit, in order to improve the handling and do some Trackdays.

Thoughts, tips?
