I can't remember having anything replaced on the rear brakes.
Suspension has been ok.
I have remembered that the front wheel bearings were replaced around 200K.

Very informative thread! I bought one of these after a lot of research in May 2015. I needed a small car to do house calls, having changed career. The C1 was the clear winner.

I bought a 2012 at 28,000, and am now on 98,000. Am now doing about 1,000m a week. Should go through 100,000 around start of December.

Work I've had done:
5 new tyres (plus one tyre repair);
2 full services;
2 oil services (filters etc);
New clutch (84,000m);
New front discs and pads (93,000);
Plus a couple of bulbs and the stereo/dash fuse (which I blew by overloading the power outlet :))

My non-work car is a Mitsubishi L200 (about as non-bug as it gets), which I love, but I have been surprised at how reliable this little chap is. I've never done any servicing myself before, but because of the miles I'm doing, I've done all the oil/filters on this one, and it's so easy to work on. I am so happy with it, that I've decided when the engine dies, I will put a new one in and carry on. It's possibly the best car I have ever had.

My 12 plate is on 13300, I was lucky to find one with a really low mileage this time last year and I only do between 3 to 4K a year. Totally underrated little motors in my opinion.

Seems like you'e going to overtake me eventually. Still going at 282K.
One regret is that i budgeted about £600 per year for repairs, breakages, tyres, brakes, servicing but a while ago i stopped fixing cosmetic things and now i wish i'd spent a little here and there on that. Fixing the little things so that they didn't accumulate and end up as reasons to give up on the thing.

Good luck

i bought this as a accident damaged car just to sell on all it needs is a rad and front bumper and a bonnet rest of body is nice no rust and it's white. Seams these little cars are good for high miles quite a surprising little car to drive so impressed with daughters bought wife a new well almost new 3000 mile old C1

My car has done about 109908 miles. bought it a year and a half ago with 104k miles. did 4000 mile in my first year. this year its been just over half a year since my renewal and ive done nearly 2000 miles which i find a bit strange as i started uni this year and its 20 miles there and back (much more than college which was about half the miles). trying to aim to reach the 110000 miles after 10th feb. ill be surprised if i do the same / less miles then my previous year.
