If that’s the sort of thing that messes up your day you really need a new hobby or some professional help

We can’t all be vehicle technicians like you. Perhaps I over exaggerated a bit.

Did my tyre pressures today and somewhat surprisingly found the rear right down to 34.5 PSI from 36 PSI, the front right down to 28 PSI from 29 PSI the front left down to 27.5 PSI from 29 PSI and the rear left down to 35 PSI from 36 PSI.

Still not enough to trigger a TPMS warning but I was surprised they'd lost that much in two weeks. Normally I'd expect to see 1 PSI loss at most. Also I found the best way to get a reading on my pressure gauge is to hold it as straight as possible onto the valve.

Maybe its because I'm checking them on a Monday instead of a Thursday like I used to.

Has the ambient temperature dropped much since you last checked them? That could be part of the equation.

Looking at the (aftermarket, active) TPMS on my C1 yesterday the temperatures of the wheels was only 7 Celsius, and the pressures were 2 PSI lower than they were before I went on holiday a month ago - so I pumped them up back to the correct pressures.

Did my tyre pressures today and they were back to normal, the right rear was 35 PSI down from 36 PSI and the rest 0.5 PSI under. Much better than last time where I lost 1.5 PSI on some tyres.

That must have been because of ambient temperature changes as suggested by Enjay.

Did tyre pressure check today for the first time in two weeks and rear right was still 36 PSI, front right down to 28.5 PSI from 29 PSI, front left still 29 PSI and rear left down to 35 PSI from 36 PSI.

I’ve only driven it once in the last two weeks as I had a bad cold, probably explains why some of them had lost nothing which is very rare in my experience.

Took the grans car round the local garage/pumps, you just can't beat the speed of air tools for having the whole set checked and inflated in under a minute (no charge for it either). Not sure when they were last checked but the TPMS wasn't chuffed hence the trip. Most were sitting ~28 from the recommended 36, so needed the top-up.

Crikey 8 PSI under is borderline severely under inflated. The most mine have ever been over two week period is 1.5 PSI under which is mildly under inflated.

Doesn’t start to get serious until you’re at 2.9 PSI under, regarded as moderately under inflated.

Your Grans mpg, tyre wear and handling would have been affected.
