im still looking around for a aygo that fits my needs

viewed a 08 tonight , disappointed to find the back of both sills pretty scabby , would probably pierce if poked at

am i right to keep looking for a clean one , i guess it is a old car now , just cant face getting one that needs welding within a couple of years

or are they all like it

Not a common thing tbh, haven't come across too many like that.

Keep looking, until your happy. You could also do a search on here for sill rust and see what turns up.

As others have said, not noticed or heard as common problem, our 107 seems to have extra protection on underside of sill (rippled paint effect) and we have a newer 108 and that has same effect but it more obvious on main face of sill, so did they issues that they beefed up on newer version, who knows, but as you say plenty more out there, some more loved than others!

Ours (2007 57 Urban 5dr) DOES now start to show rust along the 'ridge' of the sill (along the bottom) However the sills themselves seem to be OK. Will monitor.
