I preferred the rear end of the old Aygo but I used to own a 107. With the newer models I much prefer the C1 and 108.

Yep, just route a wire over to the passenger side, as Enjay says easy mod, just make sure you get the bolt/screw with the switch as the thread/nut is in door pillar waiting!, amazing how manufacturers find ways save a few pence.

No steering wheel radio controls, that came in with the newer 2014+ Pug 108s, C1s, Aygos, ironically the bean counters must had day off cos they also fitted a passenger door courtesy switch to newer version

what sort of mileage would begin to put you off

was hoping to find something 60-80k idealy , seen a couple with 110-120k im thinking bit high for me ( asuming all been serviced etc) seen that they can drink oil at high miles

Your range sounds reasonable, as it a city car I reckon 5K ish miles per year should be a good ball park, that mileage factor I used when looking for my sisters 108 few years ago, for me 10-12K per year mileage on this type car is outside its comfort/design area.

They were an option on most cars, and fitted to top models only.

You could buy them from main dealers at the time, I think they've been discontinued now.
