Hey,

New AYGO owner looking to pretend I have a car above my limited budget.

What have you done to add a high-tech feel to your car? Either off-the-shelf buys, or most advanced customisation.

hello and welcome,

We have a Peugeot 107 and 108 in the family, and done few mods to both, more on the 107 than the 108. If you feeling a bit tech less in your new Aygo, don't know if you owned previous version of the Aygo, but that was basic motoring, like our 107, but for me one of charms of these ickle cars is they have less tech so less to go wrong.

On our 108, which is really my sister's, so only added mudflaps, and door sill protectors and Aygo x-play gear knob and surround to lift the interior a bit, to be fair a few of the niggles/inconveniences on our 107 have been sorted on the 108, so it nicer to live with, but still love our 107!

I've added a handle so that I can actually roll the window down!

I got LEDs that are self coloured so that I could remove the coloured inserts in the rear lamps to get a clean white look.

Can't remember where I got them from as it was 9 years ago!!!

Good topic, want to do some modifications myself and it’s good to get inspired by other users. I’ve done none yet, but have some ideas, will post them later when I’m on the laptop.

On my wishlist:

- Tire pressure monitor system (TPMS), cost something like 25 euros

Image

- Install a reverse camera (preferably wireless), ~€40 for wired, ~€70 for wireless
- Maybe OBDII gauges/monitor, depends if i'm changing the head unit to android car or if I mount a tablet, also pretty cool: OBD HUD:

- In doubt: Replace the head unit to an android car one. I really like the one (I thought) Enjay has (you have the pioneer double din right Enjay?).
- Change headlight bulbs to LED
- Change interior light to LED
