Manual boxes have a filler level bolt on the side normal capacity is 1.7 litres.

That is for the Toyota box. He wants to know for the PSA box.
Google seems to suggest 1.9l for a refill or 2.1l for a fresh fill.

Thanks for that , i could'nt see oil level plug on the box anywhere , drain and filler plug yes , but no sign of a level plug

Normally for gearboxes (as far as I know), the correct level is when it just starts coming out the filler bolt hole.

If the filler plug is on the side of the box rather than the top it will be a level plug.

I’m not familiar with much of the mk2 stuff yet not had much chance to scope them out really
