It's great to have information about radio stations displayed on the screen, especialy the name of music tracks being played.

However, it is very irritating that the display doesn't scroll horizontally. So you might have the first half of a music track displayed but the end of it and the band name is never seen. The same for information about a BBC Radio 4 programme. The first half of the programme name is displayed and that's it.

Does anyone know of a way to enable scrolling? Every other DAB radio I've seen allow this.

I agree... but it does scroll on track change, but only once

Hi. I find this irritating also. I have taken this up with my Peugeot dealer but they have been most unhelpful. I had my 108 serviced last week and specifically asked for the Radio manufacturer. Make. Model and part number. I got everything apart from the manufacturer. The Service person said she couldn't get this as it would mean removing the DAB radio and they would have to charge me for this??! Unbelievable!

Someone else on the forum suggested that the radio is manufactured by Smeg. I checked that out but it seems it is not. Waiting confirmation from a website purporting to sell Smeg products?

Hi Timmo,

Do you get anything when you do a search on Google for the Model and/or Part Number?

Happy New Year,

Philip

If it is Pioneer, then there is a good chance there will be a setting somewhere for it. Although I don't have one of the new bugs, I have owned a number of after market Pioneer head units and, to my memory, all the ones where it would apply have had an option somewhere to specify how many times long messages scroll (usually never, once and always). So, have a good poke around in the options to see if you can find something.

Its definitely a pioneer. AVH-7048zc is pioneers model no.

Toyotas part no. is 86140-0H010

There is no options to set scrolling DAB which is annoying.
