I have been getting breaker quotes for a set of Mk2 seats for my MK1 62 plate Aygo. That’s because my driver seat is uncomfortable and someone on a members only thread I raised about the issue has said MK2 seats will be better and will fit.

The MK2 was introduced in 2014 and was updated in 2018. One of the breakers I have spoken to is convinced the very latest 2018/19 seats won’t be compatible with my 2012 Aygo (in particular the back seats). As i’m going to this much bother to get comfortable i’d like to get seats that are as new as possible, so does anyone know for sure that current 2018/19 model seats will not fit (and that 2014/17 seats will fit)?

I can't help with your question but I know a breaker that might help they are specialists in our cars.
They are called Smallcarsareusltd just an idea for you. Don't know how you feel about asking the Main Dealer after all you don't have to buy from them.

Many thanks, smallcarsrus look like a good resource although they’re a bit far away from me in Somerset (always the problem!). I have emailed them and will let you know the outcome.

Hi, I have a 2015 C1, and a 2019 C1, I can confirm that the seats are identical.

My sister in law has a 2015 MK2 Aygo and I can confirm they look identical to both C1s.

I hope this helps!

I have put front and rear MK2, seats in my Mk1 and they are a perfect fit no additional parts or modifying required

Many thanks everyone, especially brixtonboy for suggesting smallcarsrusltd. I am going there next Monday and they will fit some seats from a Mk2 C1... they are all interchangeable apparently and it’s something they do regularly. Such a helpful and knowledgable chap on the phone. No need to book, just ring to say i’m on my way!

It’s a bit of a trek from Somerset to Birmingham and back, but for £250 fitted with the old seats disposed of (another problem avoided) and a more comfortable drive home it will be worth it.

Just back from Halesowen with a nice set of 66 plate C1 seats fitted. So much better, and with height adjustment on the driver seat it feels like a new car. Rick is such a fantastic chap to deal with!

Hello. Do you have any photos of the new seats ? Do they offer a better driving position?

I seem to have a lot of reflection from the dashboard on the windscreen on sunny days.. does the changed angle fix this?

Thank you very much. I am really interested in doing this modification as well.
