Hey all.

I've not really been involved in the community but I thought I'd make a quick post here.

I'm selling my 107 Millesim, and getting myself a 64 plate 208 Style in Twilight Blue. Signing papers etc today. As much as I loved the 107, it wasn't brilliant on the Motorway but it's a great city car.

I'll end up coming back online in the future as I like to see people's mods etc :)

I've test driven it and it's a good looking car inside and out. Love it.

I'm picking mine up next Tuesday so only a few days to go.

Went for the Hire Purchase option so I can either pay it off after 3 years or swap for a new car.

Not sure if you'd allow links on the forum but heres mine up for sale on Autotrader.

EDIT: Advert has now expired (17/02)

Stick the 107 in the for sale section

Sorry for the late reply.

Went with Hire purchase
£1000 deposit. Then £200/mnth.
After 3 years I can trade it in and swap for a new car or pay it off for around £5k...

I'm paying a bit more than what the deal was as I wanted 8k mileage a year, not the original 6k. It only was an extra couple of pounds each month.

I went for the 1.2VTi, which feels so much nippier than my 107's 1L engine.

However it's not brilliant going slowly in 1st/2nd gear and can sometimes feel a bit jerky which I've been told is normal for a 3 cylinder, and also mine only has 400 miles on it so far, so still bedding in. Not really an issue though.

It's a stunning car so far though. Would recommend it.

Changed it. Soon to be: Goodbye 208 Style, Hello 208 GTi Prestige.

As much as I liked the 1.2VTi engine, I just can't seem to get used to it.
Peugeot are letting me change it 10 months into my PCP deal, and have given me the difference to the trade value of the car and what I owe.

I've just ordered myself a new 208 GTi Prestige, in Rioja Red. Much better, and it'll be a November build, expecting to have it some time in December. 0-62 in 6.5 seconds ~

As an ex-GTI owner (lol 1 week) if the 208 version has the THP engine, be very careful. It is a bag of human excrement.
