Well here's my Mini Cooper with JCW body kit,
Mods done already, replaced HU as it had some cheapo aftermarket on it. :?
No need to upgrade the speakers as its got some suprisingly goods ones in, 2 factory fitted 6x9s in back, 2 in the doors with seperate tweeters.

Thanks guys, I used my pioneer deh-x6500 dab HU which I took back out of my 107 before trading in. It was an a*** to change, have to take out the two pillars and gear stick console. Not much space behind the radio at all.

Yeah, good choice, very nice.

The reason for the good sound quality is because if I remember rightly, they install Harman Kardon speakers.

Here is also a helpfully link for you which I used to use when I work for a factors, an online BMW parts catalogue. Just tap in the last 7 digits of you chassis number.
