Looks like I may be jumping ship and deserting my trusty little C1. Just got to get the green light from SWMBO.

If all goes well, this is what I'm getting:

Ooooooh yes! Good choice there ;) Would have liked to have gotten a Mk3 for my budget, but they would have been a bit questionable. 1.8 or 2.0?

2.0 litre manual, electric tin top and all the trimmings. 2007 car with less than 30k miles on the clock. Drives nicely and it did put a big, big smile on my face when I took it for a test drive. And it's black - I like black cars :-)

It's a bit old for my tastes, but if it floats your boat then go for it.

No green light - Looks like I'll be sticking with my C1 for the time being...

Sorry to hear it Roy, plenty of MX5s on the roads so don't worry

Good luck getting an original white one Wee Mac, pretty desirable colour from what I've heard, only know of one local to me and it's in pretty shabby nick :( Then again, wait till winter and with the money knocked off them all you could probably buy a full body respray!
