Well I know it ain't no bug, but I thought I'd post it anyway as were all car enthusiasts and I'm going to be sticking around here even though my bug has flown the nest....

My old bug...

And it still returns remarkably good MPG,

Crusie control - 6th Gear - 56mph - flat road

Think that'll do for now! :)

Very nice, do have a soft spot for these golfs!

I note the parrot kit installed, is that a factory install?

Filth isn't allowed on the forums. I approve of it ;) Looks extra classy in the monotone colours!

Being Jewish I must boycott any VW products due to not only their wartime conduct, but nearly 60 years of lying denials from the firm before they finally admitted the truth in the 90's. It'd be a bit like buying a Hummer H2 if you're a Muslim from the Tora Bora.

Looks in good condition, but I'm afraid golfs don't do anything for me. Probably is a good car though. Each to their own I suppose and that's why I bought a Citroen

When I get mine I'm either going small like a vx220 or z4, or middle size like a 3 series or a4. Just don't know what I'll be doing as it will be in a couple of years yet, if I got another hatchback shape car it would have to be an alfa romeo brera

Anyways, your golf looks nice dude!

Ahh yes. The GT TDI Sport Golf. Had one of the last of the Mk5's. Cracking cars. Hateful servicing costs though if you're still under the VW warranty.

Lovely car though. Only sold it because I wanted a new motorbike and had to pay the wife's tax bill too!
