Just delivered my car to the tyre fitters. Told them it has gone down 4 PSI in 3 weeks and they said it might take them awhile to find it, "up to an hour" was his exact words.

They have my mobile number and car keys and now I anticipate the outcome.

and it's bad news... or good depending on how you look at it. My car needs new tyres as according to the fitter they are ten years old and all cracked around the edges.

It's going to cost me three hundred quid so I'll have to raid the piggy bank!

So why wasn't that not picked up at the last service ??

Is there not a danger that you might not be being shafted here. After all you would notice the cracked tyre walls as well. You check them every couple of weeks.

I have my doubts. Get some photos and numbers off your old tyres if you can.

Also have my doubts.

There will be an number on the side of your tyres somewhere. Four digits. It will look something like 25:11, where 11 is the year 2011 and 25 is the 25th month of 2011.

Dont believe anyhing that Kwikf**k or National Liars say. You are just a source of income to them

And an hour to fix a puncture is total garbage
