So this popped up in my local area and I couldn't resist:

It's a 175BHP 207 GTI. Picking it up on Saturday.

I'll still be about though, as a family member has bought the 107 off of me. So I'll probably need the guides if anything goes wrong.

Bother. It's going back if it can't be fixed. New laws seem to make it easy to return. I guess I'll end up with a boring VAG wagon.

Go for the 208. I now have one now (admitedly it's a boring 1.4 eHDI) and I love it! There is a GTI version thats pretty pokey!

It's a Peugeot - the EML is designed to be on all the time... :o ;) mine was.

Seriously though, I hope they can offer you a solid fix for whatever is wrong, I bet it's wicked when it's running right. (and it's the best colour)

It's going back on Saturday, the errors just kept on mounting up.

The list so far:
-Depollution System Faulty
-Tyre Pressure Not Monitored
-Parking Assist Faulty
-EML
-Side Lamps faulty

Such a shame because it is a nice car, however I don't have the patience for it and with Christmas coming up I need a reliable car.
