When it came back up I was the happy new owner of this bright red Fiesta...



Only went out to buy some shorts...





A Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red Edition.
Tuned version of the 1l ecoboost for 138hp, body kit, tints, 17" alloys, black roof & mirrors and a few suspension tweaks over the standard Zetec S.

And I did not expect an engine bay this clean when I opened the bonnet.







Some things from the Aygo will be for sale in a bit, will post one big thread.

hi hows the red edition going ? im thinking of trading in for one , whats the mpg like and are you happy with it . thanks

Was going to ditch the pug for one of those about a year ago, but my situation changed and I stayed. Looks fantastic, and that engine bay has definitely had a lot of love.

Mpg is normally between 40 and 45, do a lot of city driving which brings it down to the lower end, but it does well on long journeys.
Love it. The red edition is fairly pricey over the standard Zetec S for what you get, 15hp, the DAB radio (an option on Zetec S), black alloys, black roof, suspension tweaks, different seats.
But it's nice to have something a bit different.

The car was *immaculate*. It's had some love since I got it, few little mods here and there. Getting 'dusty' under the bonnet so needs a quick clean.

I have to admit, I really, really like the current generation of Fiestas. I think Ford have got them very right. I've owned a few Fiestas over the years, but a long time back (Mk1 and Mk2 days) so they were nothing like the present day models.

I have to say that I think that the Fiesta model went off the boil for a couple of Mks but they really brought things back with this generation. I've had a couple out for test drives and had one as a loan car from a garage too and I found them good to drive and the layout inside was great as well.

This particular one looks very striking in its bright red with black trim combo and it looks to have a few nice features too. Very nice indeed.

So it's been a couple of years and my old pics are now broken, so let's have some new photos...

Loads of little mods on this now. All done myself, pretty happy with that.
It's on Eibach 30mm springs, rear spacers, splitter, side skirts, de-wipered, painted calipers, tinted headlights, sun strip, turbo hard pipe, gloss front grille and fog surrounds, stubby aerial, undeglow...
