July 21-2016 Was when the engine blew. First time 2 years ago to the day. I am in no rush to see a repeat. I was very surprised that you ran the engine without an exhaust. Even if it was only for a short time.
Was the cat fitted at least?

I'll put some up on YouTube at some point but she sounds good

Went to bleed the brakes on Sunday and snapped the nipples off both fronts

Drilled them out and retapped them

New nipples and now she leaks hmmm

New callipers well second hand ones are on their way

Calipers turned up, cleaned them up and painted them

The pistons were a bit seized so got those out and new seals and grease

Alloys painted and got a tyre pen

Today blead the brakes yet again and they're much better and clayed, compounded, polished and waxed her (and washed the c1)

Got the alloys finished and back on just the centre caps to finish

Just to work out where the oil leak is coming from (I'm thinking it's the dizzy)

And got new gearbox oil seals coming too

Definitely getting there

Can't wait to drive herImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

So here we are boys and girls

Just the exhaust to sort on Wednesday but it's taken months and a lot of hard work, swearing and a credit card that's now a tad empty

It's giving me an EML on the dash, it's also slowing the static timing down and messing with the revs to compensate with the error

The knock sensors are I the V of the engine too so will have to take the intake off and the manifold and injectors to get to them grrr
