Went to the petrol station to fill up and noticed how dirty my car was. So I've just spent the best part of an hour washing the car. Used three 10 litre watering cans full of water to rinse the car down first then filled two buckets with water one with shampoo both with grit guards and gave the car a wash using my wash mitt alternating between the shampoo bucket and the water bucket.

Then I filled the watering can up again three more times and rinced the car down to finish. Finally used my drying towel to dry the car down. Its no joke when you live three stories high and have six or seven staircases to descend whilst holding heavy buckets.

I use a pressure sprayer first or go over to the jet wash in tescos then just use one bucket and dry then wax if needed

A watering can with a rose attachment is fine to use to wet the paint down before washing and also after washing to give it a final rinse. I have no other access to water or power in the car park where I park. The portable pressure washer I bought packed up after three uses.

Today I washed the windscreen by spraying my glass cleaner onto my microfibre cloth rather than directly onto the windscreen and used a second microfibre cloth to dry off. I swear I got better results this way and maybe used a little less cleaner.

I love my job so wouldn't change it for anything

And it's nice to have something that'd not a job

Just waiting for a new oil pump and pick up need to get the heads stripped and sent to get skimmed and then replace piston rings and bearings

But today I replaced my broken alarm system with something much better

Nice two way jobby ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Cheers

Got the heads stripped and the pistons and crank out so it's basically nothing left to take apart
