I miss my bug big time, but this car is better on the motorway and allows me to branch out more.

The headlight points too far down as all four brackets were broken. I've spoken to a body shop today and they reckon they can get it back into working and "alright looking" condition for less than £100, but if I want it to look like new again I'm looking at £250-400.

Most important thing for me at the moment is fixing that headlight and getting the bonnet looking "pretty good".

You guys know me, I'm not too fussed about cosmetic damage, it's a battle scar as far as I'm concerned. In the future I will get the bonnet properly reshaped but my degree takes priority for now.

Fitted the bonnet incorrectly in order to take some before and after photos, so here is it.

You can hardly see it in the photos but can feel it with your fingers.

Just looked at loads of Smarts didn’t see one with like that unless l was looking in the wrong place.
You got a crash bar, for the dark mornings fitted?

Hard to see it unless you stand right next to it and feel with your fingers. Out of four Smart cars I have checked, two of them had incorrectly fitted bonnets and two had them fitted correctly.

No, I can really see it in the photos too. Stands out quite a bit to me.
