Going to be honest, this tyre shop sounds like an absolute shambles.

They were recommended to me by someone, he said to me today I've cost you three hundred quid!

I just added my new tyres into the basket on the Camskill site. They came to £ 149.97 ex VAT including £ 41 shipping and 5% GST. Add £ 5.97 for wheel balancing, £ 13.80 for valves and £ 41.98 for Laser Super tracking and you get to £ 211.72.

That's a £ 84.17 saving over local. It all depends how good a deal a local fitter would be prepared to give you to fit the tyres if you didn't buy the tyres from them, should imagine they'd be a bit miffed.

Just gave the Civic a quick jetwash to get the grime off, gleaming like a new shilling

I bought some autoglym HD wax the other day, gonna get this bumper painted then use it

But got my lip on, smoothed over where the number plate used to be so thinking of putting it in the grill

Gave my car a wash and noticed this scrape I inherited whilst my car was in at the tyre fitters...

Luckily after a wash with some water most of it disappeared...

I am very lucky!

Yeah, seen some really good replicas

But they're very frowned upon in the mr2 world

My local tyre shop fits tyres with new valve and balanced for £10 per wheel. I think your tyre shop, as well as being ignorant and fitting the wrong size also have totally ripped you off

Ah well it's good to support local businesses, if you don't like it there's always a boat in the morning. That Camskill site is pretty much the cheapest on the Internet and I wouldn't expect a local bricks and mortar business to be able to compete.

They actually advised me in an email a few years ago that budget tyres started from £ 44.62, there is no doubt the tyres they fitted are budget but they told me they would be mid-range.

Anyway 4x budget tyres at £ 44.62 is £ 178.48 add on £ 41.98 for Laser Super Tracking £ 5.97 for wheel balancing and £ 13.80 for valves and you get to £ 240.23. So if anything they have ripped me off to the tune of £ 55.66.
