I was afraid that forum was history...he he, but you're back guys..

My car is at home for a month or so...I've made two modifications till now...

I'm simply thrilled by the BUG...I've never imagine how fantastic fuel consumption is...
Pure urban driving to work...4,5 mls in one direction with 11 traffic lights...stop&go
result is 37-38 mpg (6,2l/100 km) for example Mazda 2 1.3 my2008. same direction
thirsty like an elephant 24 mpg (9,5l/100 km)

So now, my Honda Jazz is almost always at home, and C1 is a king of the city :)

Next plans are with some vinyl stickers (good friend's business) and hopefully alloys (or next year)

Looks brilliant, are the side rubbing strips not standard on your model or in your country, here the VTR + / rhythm gets them?

They do improve the side, break the colour up nicely, and the glovebox is gr8 makes a huge difference :D :D

2 abc1: Side rubbing strips are not standard on C1, only on 107, they really improve the side, that's why I bought them.
It was an idea to spray them in red, but I thought to wait I while and see how this is going to look.

2 kitingmike: yes, they are just stick on, if you take them off, 3M tape should solve the problem, just mark the place with
sticky paper tape (you know, the yellow one) I was so stupid, I didn't kept the instructions manual with all
measurements and put it here, thought the forum was dead, but it isn't :)

P.S. you can take them off with fishing thread

Your car is looking very nice. I'm tempted to take my side strips off as think they would better without them (in my opinion) but going to keep them on for as long as I can to protect the doors a bit longer. They dont look too bad on mine with it being grey. They are already starting to look a bit scruffy with all the bumps on them from other people opening their car doors onto my car, and dont want it to be my paintwork!

A very nice looking C1 8-)

I think it looks better with the side rub strips, breaks it up a little. Im thinking about getting some for our C1 before it gets too rashed with door dents.
