Hats off to you Al for the Lego idea. Genius! Looking forward to seeing it installed

also recently installed which isn't really worth a picture - piaa superior bass horns. very loud. various led things and i also cut my old stock aerial down and glued a lego brick on the end of it. gives a better reception than the stubby one i had on. only installed the new head unit at the weekend so i'm still fiddling with the tuning - which is fun as it's done via the alpine tuneit app on my phone. still waiting on a connector to turn up to make use of the DAB+ but it should be alright :) my favourite thing is that you can control your full apple music library via the headunit itself and don't need to fiddle with your phone at all. kept in the pocket so i can keep my license clean ;) technology these days eh!

next plans are to paint up a spare rear bump strip i have lying around. hopefully get my wheels refinished in a nice gloss black, maybe with a bit of red flake through it. apart from that it's due a service next weekend. still running well and despite the clutch incident it's been mainly trouble free :) just need to give it it's spring clean when the weather comes (which is never because scottish)

How'd you do the fancy old flip key mate? Looks a fun little project that seeing as I won't be buggering around with the car itself so much.

Order the case/blade on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/320872381224

Get it cut to the same as your original remote key (which is hard as high street key cutters won't touch them) I had to get mine cut by a local independent guy.

Transfer the internals I.e switch board with battery and buttons and also the little black chip

Stick on a badge :)
