One thing you may face is that yellow is one of the hardest colours to get a good match for. Not just these cars, I mean generally. I've owned quite a few yellow cars and both repaired and had repairs done on them. Getting a good match can be really tough even for an experienced body shop.

Nice bit of buffing you done there, as per Reedy's calc ,which is panel cost I always roughly use, you saved a bit. It still annoying, but if you needed door skins and bumper and went insurance it be write off and then more hassle.

Managed to purchase a wing for £30 on ebay already painted in yellow, took awhile to find one, will be with me tomorrow and hopefully fitted at the weekend.
