Nice job, good to see some old fashioned elbow grease and the right product gets results.

Yeah the majority of reviews on Amazon are positive. But there’s quite a few 1 star reviews as well saying it doesn’t work.

When I first tried it I didn’t get the results I wanted but I noticed it was getting slightly better which made me try for a second and third time.

Once I’d sorted the marks on the door I felt confident I could do something with the wheel arch, the trick is to use plenty of compound and to rub it in thoroughly then buff it off with a buffing towel.

Do it two to three times and you should see results, I already had some applicator pads and a buffing towel so had everything I needed.

Went over the scratch in the plastic on the wing mirror with ultimate compound...

After...

Made it slightly better but no worse.

Well after using Meguiars Ultimate Compound all I’ve really got left is this...

and this...

Both of which I’m responsible for, the wing mirror is slightly worse than the inside of the door scratch.

Got the wing mirror scrape after grazing a wall, the impact actually folded the mirror in. The scratch on the inside of the door happened as I was getting out of the vehicle. I accidentally keyed it with the ignition key.

Still I’d much rather have the car than not and it’s two years old now it was never going to stay immaculate.

It's like buying a new sofa when you have kids/pets. I advise friends to draw on the back with Biro so it's ruined. After that you can stop worrying about it getting damaged and enjoy/use it ;)
