Just remembered something and need to ask before I forget: What is the best way for me to clean the underside of the car? I haven't washed it under there before and the car had only done just over 3000 miles when I bought it so I assume it wasn't washed underneath then either. So I have about 2.5 years of grit, salt and crap on the underside. I would take it through a car wash but Citroen say not to (in the handbook) because of the convertible roof so I don't want to risk it.

Pressure washer round the arches and the sills

Dont worry about the underside, it's all be rust treated etc and no one can see it!

The 107 is a total work hack between myself and my son. My son works 8 to 5, I work 6pm to midnight and use the car for work. The 205 is weekends and shows only, 25 years old a genuine 33k covered. The 407 coupe for long distance and daily thats not work. Its a 2.7 v6 hdi, chipped to 250bhp and enough torque to pull a train. Its for comfort and speed :D

Oh I see, makes sense.
A 205 like that must be one of the best models on the road. How many awards have you had at shows?

Yes, definitely do so, much more manageable for us.

Same could be said for my Smart car, handles ok unless you're rallying it. Max speed limit here is 40 mph so its not as if I am doing 80 round corners.

Talking of washing your car, well hosing it down really. Whatever happened to the member who's car would not start after he hosed it down. I can't find the thread because l'm thick at that, last thing l suggested was to try the spare key. Did he ever come back or what???????????

Maybe he hosed it again and it started.

Is it just my car or are yours very lumpy? When at tickover speed the car always feels like it wants to stall and when I change gear the car lurches around (although that is probably me lifting the clutch too fast)
